Consider whatever you are doing and think of a way to obviate the need to have absolutely no over heads. I mean, at least the long established necessities of business. I have a feeling that you could try to conjure up ways to try and obviate the need to have those seemingly necessary expenses. How you might ask?
well, if you are a manufacturer, you could just have an online business or e-commerce model, that would save a lot of expenses that might have occurred due to the retail space rentals or lease. If you were a publisher, you could probably run the whole business just by using temp staffing and a network of freelancers.
There are businesses that are successful. However, it is a lot of work again and it needs acute networking skills, high degree of management skills and the possibility that the people u rely on for your deliverables might just vanish one day without notice.
It all really depends on strategy and you need to plan your business such that there ought to be as less expenditure on anything frivolous and that does not seem to provide some kind of value to the customer, directly or indirectly.
How customer centric your business is depends entirely on what steps you take on a constant basis so as to provide value to customers. Period.
