Why You Don’t Have The Right Entrepreneurial Mindset?
Business, by itself is easy — like a 1000 piece puzzle. However, solving this puzzle isn’t a matter of 1000 simple steps like Michael.E.Gerber suggested in his book ” The E-Myth Revisited”. It takes a lot of trials and tribulatrions to solve that puzzle and on top of everything, without an entreprneurial mindset, no one can even think of setting up a functional, profitable company.Here are some reasons why an entrepreneurial mindset is so hard to find:
- Opinionated, closed-minded and over-confident: Most of the business owners come across as rather brash, opinionated, over-confident and unapproachable. These qualities are idea killers and they can literally squash any signs of creativity. If you are an entrepreneurs with this problem, you know what you got to do, don’t you?
- Misjudged and wrong priorities: Most business persons don’t get their priorities right. Something or the other seems to be occupy your mind share at one point or the other. What needs to get done doesn’t get done and everything else seems to get the priority. For instance, any business should make marketing its priority, but it doesn’t seem to be the case with most business since these businesses seem to be pinned down by the weight of their operational procedures.
- Indecisiveness: One of the major impediments to success is the inability to decide. Either you don’t care about making a simple decision or you analyze way too much for every decision to be made. Sometimes, entrepreneurs can just be so lazy that they don’t want to decide.
