Why Quitting Jobs Makes Sense
You might I lost my mind but I saying what I had always felt, ever since I was doing my MBA; gettign yourself a job is the worst kind of insult you could do to yourself after all the education you’ve had.
Education was meant to be a facilitator for learning and by learning you should have aquired knowledge. Knowledge is power and there is no denying that but then, why is it that most people are conditioned by others to choose the path of misery that a job entails?
Think of the scenario: get a job, get married, buy a house( on loan), a car ( on loan), furniture and other stuff for home ( for some, it is a credit card which is again through a loan) and then spend the rest of your life paying off the EMI. Incredible isn’t it?
Suddenly, someone in the family gets sick or you get sick and then you have many other bills to pay. Say, what kind of life is that? When will you ever take a break? When will be in a in a situtation where you don’t have to work but the money comes in, each and every month without you having to lift a finger?
If you are in a job, it isn’t going to happen. Never, ever. Yeah, you might be a mightily paid executive, but your expenses are going to be mighty too and you will be trading time for dollars.
Have you quit your job yet?
