Why I Think Customer Service Means Everything For A Business !

Think about it – everyone sells products and services, one way or the other. If there is a sign of demand, anywhere, it will get sold. Big deal. do you know what it takes to provide flawless customer service? Pain. It takes tremendous amount of hard work, PAIN, torture, patience, determination, ability to build rapport with not just new an existing clients, but also those irate ones.

Though we can’t be talking about customer service in one single post, we can discuss a few pointers, Can’t we?

  • Call up your clients. They are human, they have their problems, screw-ups and tensions. Make them feel at ease. Tell them that you are there for them and that you care for them.
  • Send them a gift. Wish them on their birthdays, anniversaries, whatever. Just call them up. Move it.
  • Have the guts to face up to a customer you screwed up with. Go back to him and make an offer to help. Ask for forgiveness, rub your nose on the ground, do whatever it takes to get him back.
  • keep in touch in whichever form, for whatever reason. You don’t need reasons for this. You need relentless passion.
  • Treat client’s business as your business.
  • Love your clients but don’t lose your self-respect, ever.
  • Follow some world’s greatest brands like South-West Airlines, McDonalds and Bharti – tele services, an Indian Telecom provider. Espouse their methods. See the magic happen.

    2. Yes, providing top-notch customer service can be such a PAIN in the ass. To avoid it, you should plan before launching the product and a team should be dedicated to provide support to your clients.
