Continuing my update on Video Vs Text tutorials, We’ve seen that Video Tutorials is the way to go in web hosting. Customers can view the visual tutorial and understand it faster than text tutorials.

A few more points to be followed are :

1) List the video tutorials Url’s in a single page with linking to its individual tutorial and brief description of what each video assists in.
2) Add the Video Tutorials URL in your initial setup/welcome mail.
3) Add the Video Tutorial Url in your email signature.
4) Add it prominently on your website for easy access
5) Encourage Customers to View Video tutorials before contacting helpdesk.
6) Have Video tutorials ready for all common queries like configuring outlook express, adding email address in cpanel, Creating Database etc.
7) Brand the video tutorials with your logo and url.
8 ) Paid and branded Video Tutorials are available for a price at many tutorial sites.
9) If you are serious about providing support, add as many video tutorials as possible
10) Flash Tutorials are the most common type of video tutorials
