surf Speed and Agility: Your Weapons For SuccessI was reading this post at entrepreneur.com called Money likes speed and I couldn’t agree more with it. The post also points out that Napolean Hill who wrote ” Think and Grow Rich” had interviewed some of the wealthiest people on the planet and atleast 50 of them had 15 traits which were interestingly “learned” — they weren’t born with these traits.

Agreeing to the post completely and also subscribing to the fact that speed of decision making is perhaps one of the most defining traits some of the truly welathy have compared to the rest of us. Yes, mothers and wifes might be agonizingly slow decision makes because of the over-cautiousness and worry that mixes deeply with their love.

Decisiveness is a leadership trait. It takes vision, courage and a leap of faith a lot of times than normal. The speed with which you take these decisions is crucial for your success and there is no denying that. Look at any self-made millionaire and you will see that not a single day, hour, or week has been wasted in mere contemplation.

It either is, or it isn’t.

It ’s in or out.

You are hired or not.

It is purchased or not.

The investment is made or not.

The speed could seem reckless and stupid for most of us, but entrepreneurs take those risks because before anything else, they are all students of the maxim that says ” The more risk you take, the better returns you get”.

Money like speed indeed and it isn’t just about decisiveness. It also means that you must battle with your uncertainties faster, conquer your learning curves sooner, etc.

Being slow brings you less money. Period.
