Sales Tips: Do You Sell Like a Champion?
Sales is a difficult thing to do for most people, but if done right it could be an endeavor that could pay you handsomely for your efforts — unlike anything else.
There are sales people and then there are champions. The differences between how champions go about their sales process and how avergage sales people go about their sales process are way too many. Champions approach sales in a radically different way compared to the average sales person.
Champions make their approach based on a firm belief that they are doing all they can to help their customers solve a problem. They call up with the confidence that they are going to make a difference and they never feel bad when they have to face an inevitable rejection.
Champions master the rt of prospecting, calling, meeting, managing, following-up and closing sales. The sales process they follow is smooth, efficient, non-pushy and laden with expertise. They look at things from a long-term perspective and they don’t try to short-sell their products.
Average sales people don’t prospect. They don’t have a plan and there is no system in place to track their efforts on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. They would do anything to get that sale and they wouldn’t look at the trouble clients might go through. They lie through their teeth, they would wheel and deal. They would con and they would push.
If you had to do just one thing to protect your brand and have a reputation for an impeccable customer service, become a champion sales person. Are you one?
