Profitable Networking: The Power of Tea and Lunch Networking

powernetworking Profitable Networking: The Power of Tea and Lunch NetworkingJust the other day, I happened to be on a leash and went out looking for more prospects for my business. However, I followed the consultative approach to selling and that would mean that I wouldn’t sell anything or peddle my wares; I would just go out there on a limb and talk to people. I would try to understand what my potential clients need and then come out with solutions for their problems as a consultant.

During the process, I realized something that hit me like a ton of bricks. Networking is powerful and you would have heard me saying that like a million times. However, it is not often that I get to see its real power in action.

I realized that, all I had to do was to maintain that consultative approach to selling, go about doing my talks, building my contacts and just keep listening. The power is such, combined with a very positive approach to life as mentioned in “The Secret” — that it will lead to so many opportunities that you don’t know what to do with them (unless you leverage). I personally ended up with more opportunities than I knew what to do with.

Everybody happens to know somebody and that is what I am interested in. Linked In, Facebook and Xing, the well-known social networking sites have this basic principle working for it.

The spine of all networking is the fact that human fabric is powerful. It works as a cumulative chain of events — one triggering the other.

I have enjoyed the fruits of positive and effective networking, and I hope you understand the inherent power of tapping into this profitable human fabric. Have you networked yet?
