Master The Only 3 Ways of Acquiring Customers
No matter which business you are in, you will do well to realize that there are just 3 ways of growing your business: get more customers; have each of your present customers to buy more in quantity from you and lastly, have each of your customers to purchase goods for a higher price from you.
It’s appalling to note that this nugget of common sense escapes many small business owners. Most small business owners I see spend time working on one of the above 3 ways of growing their businesses, and they forget about the other two ways completely.
Competitors look to eat you up when you come in with nothing on your mind except the fact that you now have a business to run. Business isn’t rocket science, but it can become one when you don’t allow your customers to buy from you.
Firstly, you must let your customers find you easily. I am alarmed at the fact that it is so difficult to find businesses that provide a product or service I need. No matter which medium I use to do my research, I don’t find the businesses I am looking for there.
Secondly, make It easy for them to make purchases from you. You see, customers don’t just buy once. If you fail to realize that they would make repeat purchases, you will figure out that every customer is worth to your business – and it is certainly more than the first transaction. How do you try to reach out to your customers again? The answer makes for a different post altogether.
Don’t let your customers go away. Think creative. Business is a battle and you will have to survive. Are you up for it?
