Kloxo was previously known as Lxadmin. The company specializes in the developing, production and distribution of web based software solutions, mainly for web hosting companies. Whilst their products have been considered superior to comparative brands over the last few months, a series of developments regarding the company may change its path for good.
Kloxo/Lxadmin Benefits
The Kloxo product is extremely beneficial for hosting businesses to use compared with many products that are currently available. What Kloxo does, is enables hosting businesses to implement a HostinABox system quickly and easily. It is a complete package for web hosting companies, a professional service at a reasonable cost.
The system itself uses full featured hosting, which enables hosting businesses access to 15MB RAM. In essence, Kloxo is the one stop piece of software, which can operate all areas of your hosting business with both simplicity and ease. It is irrelevant whether you are looking to use the Kloxo system based on a shared hosting or via a basic control panel, this piece of software is ideal.
The Kloxo system has developed into what it is today, thanks to a few major factors. For a start, Kloxo offers one of the superior products on the market, which is currently being used on thousands of domains worldwide. The HostInABox solution enables web hosting business access to a quick and easy solution to their web hosting problems.
LxLabs Advantage
LxLabs were quick to make a name for them selves in the software creation and distribution industry. The software they offered web hosts was both exceptional and great value for money. They offered extremely cheap licensing agreements for their customers, which would put them ahead of comparative brands in the field.
The main features of the HostinABox software, Kloxo, are extremely beneficial which has led to many web hosting businesses continuing to use their software solutions. Features of the HostinABox solution include the ability to backup your entire hosting and restore literally any part of it, a built in application installer, access and ability to move resources from one machine to another and of course, move clients and domains across resellers. These are just a few of the features available to HostinABox/Kluxo customers.
LxLabs Downfall
Whilst the software does provide a great opportunity for web hosting businesses, it is not all that simple. Just a few days ago a major hacking group got hold of information that would make the software and web hosting business solution extremely vulnerable. As a result of this, the LxLabs server was hacked, leaving somewhere in the region of 100,000 owners facing the possibility of never seeing their files ever again. Of course, this was a huge publicly announced blow for the company, which before hand, had an extremely positive reputation.
HyperVM Technology
LxLabs also specialize in a web based application called HyperVM. The application allows the creation and management of different virtual machines. This will allow any user to manage the virtual machines, even if different technologies and platforms are being use. The LxLabs HyperVM is not only a multi tiered structure, but also multi server.
HyperVM Features
The features included in the HyperVM application allow users to manage an VPS hosting as a whole from one single unit or console. Obviously this offers both time and financial benefits, not to mention being extremely convenient.
HyperVM sports advanced features allowing you to manage your entire vps hosting from a single console. HyperVm has been optimized for cross data-center clusters, allowing you to have your servers spread across multiple data centers all over the world.
Some key HyperVM features:
Ligesh – Owner of LxLabs
One of the most successful and skilled software engineers on the planet has definitely been Ligesh. Ligesh was the founder of the company, LxLabs.com and of course the creating of major solutions such as:
The company was expanding based on solid sales and excellent products.
The products were so good that event top Web hosting companies, server owners and resellers were recommending LxLabs products and services on a regular basis.
Ligesh Hangs to Death
Unfortunately, Ligesh was found dead recently, after committing suicide.
Whilst the details surrounding his suicide are subject to varied opinions, there are many basic facts available, all which may have contributed. Five years ago, both Ligesh’s mother and sister both committed suicide. Anyone grieving for loved ones is likely to act on impulse, so of course, when the company lost a contract to a rival, this did not help ease the pressure that Ligesh was feeling.
Locals suggest that Ligesh lived a fairly lonely life. Of course, this means that the effect of losing two of the closest people to him, in the World, would have a huge impact on his life. Unfortunately Ligesh must have found life too hard to cope with, and eventually committed suicide.
May he Rest In Peace.
LxLabs Future
Just a month or so ago, the future of LxLabs looked extremely secure. Today, with the only owner and founder no longer alive, the future of the company looks extremely insecure. The vulnerabilities of the web hosting solution that have been publicly revealed, will damage the reputation for ever.
Even if the reputation of the company was not damaged, there is no longer anybody at the business that knows the products like Ligesh did. Ligesh acted as the core of the LxLabs operation. His absence is definitely noticeable when visiting the forums on LxLabs, which are full of complaints regarding hacks and general technical issues.
Although it is painful to say, one of the best options may be to move away from the LxLabs HostinABox solution, at least until the company comes under new management. Once the company is under new management and a team of adequate software developers are put into place, I’m sure that the company will be back on the road to success. In the mean time, it is just not a viable option to risk your web hosting business failing, due to software malfunctions such as major hacks, like the one suggested above.
