How To Make an Irrestible Offer To Your Customers
More than 85% of the business advertisements, promises and elevator pitches I listen to have nothing enticing for me. I am bored by the constant influx of advertisements, emails, newspaper ads and TV ads that do advertise but not as much as I would like.
I am, frankly, not impressed.
You will need reasons to get your customers come tearing to your doors; beat the doors down and come asking for more. If you just open shop and expect them to come running to you, they won’t. You are wasting time and you would be better off with a job.
However, the point here is that the reasons your business tries to educate your customers about is technically the USP of your business. One very good of coming up a USP quickly is to fill up the blanks here:
My competitors provide _______ . We, however, provide this _______________.
I know it isn’t rocket science, but no one said business was rocket science in the first place. All successful businesses do all the time is to serve you, get into your head and make you pay top dollar for these apparently high quality products and services, and consistently at that. Here is a short but quick and effective list of things you could do to make an offer your customers can’t refuse.
- Have a bold USP; it doesn’t have to be out of the world – just bold will do.
- Make a Money-back guarantee.
- Go out of your way to work on your mistakes.
- Deliver high quality products and services.
- Do points 1-4 consistently – that gives birth to a “Brand”.
What do you think? Could you manage to think of your USP yet?
