How To Enhance Your Self-Esteem By Not Doing Anything At All
Surprised that you don’t have to do anything to improve your self-esteem, feel confident and feel on top of the world? That’s right. You don’t have to “do” a damned thing; you just have to feel it. However, if you have a tendency to feel down the dumps and have an increasing need to take external stimuli to peop you up ( believe me, many of us do), here are some tips:
- Half Music, Half inspiration: Next time you sit in your car, roll in some inspirational audio books (make sure you listen to ‘Think and Grow Rich” by Napolean Hill and ” Magic off Thinking Big”) and start listening to them for as long as you travel. Listen to your music when you don’t feel like listening to these audiobooks or podcasts, though.
- Be with Motivated, self-directed and positive people: Don’t stick with the losers, negative thinkers and depression mongers — they can only give you despair. Stick with those who have been there and done that; those who have achieved things and succeeded in life.
- Read books, blogs and sites: Reading is one habit that most of the self-made billionaires share. It is what helps them keep in touch with the news, information about their industry and help them gain mileage through knowledge. If knowledge is power, this is best way to get powerful.
