The new feature by Google will enable fans to keep up with their favorite celebrities on an ongoing basis. The iGoogle Showcase will show exactly what your celebrities’ home page looks like, thanks to a new script written by Google themselves.. Better still, if you are looking to add widgets from their homepage to your own, then that can be done almost instantly. The widgets can be added via your own iGoogle homepage, as well as adding all the usual features such as weather and news reports.
By logging onto the iGoogle Showcase you can quickly see what has changed; what’s stayed the same and who you want to follow. The chances are that iGoogle will soon make the transition into becoming a leading social networking portal. The development of social networks such as Facebook and Twitter means that more people log on much more frequently. By now, Google will most likely have various other features in the pipeline for iGoogle, so watch this space!
