I am aware of the fact that phrases like ” Do it now”, “Now is better than never” are thrown about everywhere, all the time. If it weren’t for the fact that the phrases do have merit, I would have been sick by now. No matter how cliched it might sound, the word ” now” is the key to extreme productivity.
Send that proposal now, edit that report now, make that call to talk to your prospect now, start your business now, move now, do it now — the power of now is powerful, impeccable, unfailing and highly potent.
Yet, many of us don’t do it — while some of us want to analyze and burn spreadsheets down, some of us are born lazy. While most of us feel comfortable with ample research (that inevitably took sinful amount of time) or run a never ending survey, some others have the need to talk to a hundred people for their opinions abd base their next course of action on all of that data.
High levels are productivity are achieved only when your tasks — broken down into days and weeks or even months — are prioritized and completed. Anything that takes time or is repetitive can be outsourced and short-cuts can be learnt. taking action, for better productivity, is the life-giver.
