USP Every Business Must Be a Unique BusinessToo often, I see a lot of companies that have products and services that scream “Me-too” and that should be officially declared as the number one business profitability killer. Most businesses don’t have a single reason to give to their customers if asked as to why they should purchase any of the stuff these businesses offer.

Without a USP, don’t even think of starting a business.

What would you tell your customer if he asked you a simple question like  “Why should I buy from you?”. Most small business owners do know that there is nothing special about their services and products except the fact that THEY started it.

A USP is very easy to develop. Just think of what you could do to stand out from the competition. A friend of mine runs a training company and he brings in native english speakers from the US and UK to teach english to delegates in India — this is something his competition can’t even think of doing.

You don’t have another courier company that delivers like Fedex. No one can match the prices at Wal-mart  and the coffee is just outstanding at Starbucks — not to mention the free Wi-FI,  ambience and service.Dominoes Pizza swears by quick delivery and Toyota cars never breakdown, ever.

Your business should be like that; No if’s and buts. Sit down and think about how to make your services or products or both special. Fill those blanks up and give it a thought before you launch it. Make an endeavor to keep adding to the list of reasons why people should buy from you and I assure you that your business will just rock.
