Do You Have Control On Sales and Marketing Data?

I recently attended a business conference and I had realized that one of the most common problems that most small business owners are confronted with is the fact that they don’t have a system to keep their sales and marketing data in one centralized system.
The more I kept hearing about their predicaments, the more I started getting intrigued about the lack of simple systems in the daily workings of small businesses. It so happens that entrepreneurs who own small business rarely think of any of these systems as necessities. For them all of this is fancy. Apparently, even days that don’t see any sales isn’t motivation enough for them to forge ahead and implement systems.
It really doesn’t take much for a small business to start implementing a CRM which should take care of most of the information pertaining to leads collected, automated follow-ups and constant email marketing. The whole system would be centralized, updated real time and available for anyone looking to access this data( presumably the owner or business partners) and be on top of numbers.
We did talk about salesforce.com and netsuite.com – even though they were for bigger companies and more expensive choices. We also have CRM systems for start-ups and very small enterprises – Zoho CRM, Worketc, and Infusionsoft are great examples as such.
Do you have a CRM in place? Is your marketing and sales data collected and distributed safely in your company? Are you on top of this precious call data?

Abdul,
Thanks for the mention of Infusionsoft, I’m glad we could interest you in our comprehensive CRM solution. I agree that data security and access is a top priority in companies of any size, even smaller ones.
Infusionsoft has very complex, yet easy to maintain access permissions to virtually every piece of data on a contact and how that data can be modified. Marketing and sales (including transactional) data is important and is sacred to the growth of a business to ensure everyone can only see what they are supposed to see. Because of this permissions controls, someone can comfortably allow any remote employee access use the software without concerns for privacy and security, since it’s included.
If you’re interested at seeing our solution first-hand, let me know. I can hook you up.
Warm regards,
Joe
