mistake Do You Have a Rate of Return On Mistakes? Everyone is naturally afraid of making mistakes and it  is really very human. Ironically though, nothing much is achieved if you don’t make those mistakes. Mistakes are like slightly tougher classrooms you sit to get embarrassed, laughed at, jeered at and ridiculed about; but these are also classrooms where you will learn the best of the lessons. How do you manage a return on investment through mistakes? Read on:

First, accept that mistakes are as natural as rain. Great things have found their way into our midst starting with mistakes and there can be no better teacher than that in our lives. The people who are afraid of making mistakes rare forge ahead, while those who are unafraid and take chances, make mistakes but learn form them are those who move on to do great things.

Have a “make your mistake” day in your company. Think about it — how would it be if you demarcate a day, every month, as a “mistake day” wherein the “thinkers” in your team could throw any sort of an idea at walls and reflect without the fear of brandishment or ridicule. Let employees or your team members do anything they like and innovate, if possible.

You will be surprised to see the results. You would achieve some really incredibly things if only you let creativity flow.  Will you do it? Have you learnt from any of your own mistakes?
