Simply put, hypertension can make your hear to work more than usual which can cause a permanent damage to heart. The numbers of people who are suffering with hypertension are in millions with a great proportion of adults. Here, it is essential to mention that hypertension is not a disease in itself. Actually, it is all about blood pressure as the name implies. It is the force with which blood pushes the walls of arteries which means that it can damage arteries or other body parts if not treated with care.
Before going any further, it is imperative to talk about two types of blood pressure. One type of blood pressure is when your heart beats to pump blood and the other one is when your heart rests between the beats. The pressure while pumping of blood is known as systolic blood pressure, whereas, the pressure other than the time when heart beats is known as diastolic blood pressure. Systolic blood pressure which may be less than 120 and diastolic less than 80 are considered as the normal blood pressure ranges.
As mentioned that hypertension itself is not a disease, so, you may not find any symptom
until it finally affects your body. It damages your heart as it has to put more effort to pump blood which can lead to weakening of heart. Also, it can have a direct impact on kidney as the blood vessels in kidney get narrower. Apart from these, there can be many other implications of having hypertension.
Now, it is essential to understand your conditions and the severity of hypertension to deal with it in the right way. While using different medications, you will have to change your entire lifestyle. You will have to take steps to stay away from stress which can lead to serious implications if not handled properly. If you will take stress, it will have a direct impact on your blood pressure which can be dangerous for people suffering with hypertension. Staying away from stress is essential only for those who are having hypertension, but, also for those who are having normal blood pressure.
Apart from stress, you will have to consider the option of getting indulged in some type of physical activity. You can either go for a walk or you can try other aerobic exercises. However, you must always use specific exercises only after consulting with your doctor as there are other things to consider before incorporating an exercise.
Finally, there comes the trickier part of the story. Healthy eating is something that is extremely important, not only to stay away from hypertension but to manage it well. You will have to keep an eye on your salt intake. Also, you will have to consider using those things which may help you to fight with hypertension and the threats associated with it. In this regard, you can add garlic in your diet as it helps you to deal with hypertension, naturally.
So, it can be said that hypertension is silent killer as it doesn’t come with symptoms. You will have to get aware of it as soon as possible and must take some steps to deal with it in the most effective way.
