Many people freeze at the thought of having to pick that phone up and set-up appointments. One, they haven’t yet realized that the phone is one of the most important tools any business person or sales person has. Secondly, unless you overcome that hesitation you feel just prior to picking that phone and setting an appointment up, you are never going to close the sale.
Having said that, sales is purely a numbers game and the more people you call up and set appointments with, the more you will end up making money. They say,” Money is in the list” and nothing can be farther from the truth no matter how cliched it might sound right now.
However, just burning through your prospect list without proper script in place and the required preparedness it takes to field the questions your prospects are likely to ask, your actions will bring no results and can only lead to frustration, a pile of paper and defeat.
Know the system, apply the procedures and do what is required of you while taking consistent action. It is all a matter of focus, commitment and leading a life filled with determination and grit.
Contacting, inviting( setting up appointments) and meeting prospects — no matter what kind of product or service you would like to sell or help getting sold – is the ultimate secret to untold riches, prosperity and fulfilment of dreams.
