Business Start-Up Ideas: Where Do You Get Your Ideas From?

It is never easy to think of new ideas for a profitable business start-up, but that’s where it all starts, don’t you think? Where do you get your fix of ideas? More often than not, ideas often crop up while you seem to be doing anything other than thinking about business – like when you are eating, when you are in the shower and stuff like that.
But then, you can’t depend on these serendipities and random idea generating methods when you did take the decision to start on your own. You would do well to have some great entrepreneurial ideas sent to your inbox, though.
Did you hear about springwise.com? I suggest you bookmark that site and even make it your homepage if you can. The best thing about the site is it has “spotters” all over the world who report in with all sorts of businesses and state how they are special and how each business solves a particular problem.
If you ask me, it is an awesome source of inspiration for those looking for fresh new ideas. Usually, you would have to be knowledgeable, well-traveled or pretty resourceful to come up with ideas like that. However, Internet has made it simple for us now – you just have to subscribe to their newsletter, which comes in once a month with a bunch of ideas featured in it. Don’t forget to hit the archives while you are out there for more business.
Have you heard of any other sources of good business ideas? Would brainstorming work? Do let me know.
