Bookmarking Tips: I Am Reading Too Fast For My Own Good
I always believed that it is very important for business owners to read and keep abreast of information pertaining to our businesses. If you don’t have information with you, you die. Period. However, I happened to face a little problem now-a-days as I spend at least an hour or two just reading things that interest me – namely business, technology, and of course FI racing.
Now, the problem was that I was reading way too fast and visiting too many websites and I don’t have an easy way to book mark them all in categories. I don’t want to do any social bookmarking since I don’t know what kind of value that provides. I don’t find time to bookmark, let alone working hard to let others know about my favorite sites.
I know that there are some firefox plug-ins that could be used to do some push-button bookmarking.It’s just a matter of picking my options. Evernote happens to be an amazing tool to use – just drag or clip it to evernote while browsing and you are done.
Yet another excellent and free service I found is Yomyam.com. You don’t even have to register at the site if you have a Google ID. You have a simple looking button that you can drag off their homepage on to your link section in the browser. I personally loved the Interface and the easy way in which you can categorize your bookmarks. The bookmarks will show up visually like you are looking through a dashboard and you could launch any of your favorite websites in an instant.
I sometimes use Google Chrome and I already have a way to do this through the browser. But then, what if I am traveling and I need the same bookmarks for easy access? What if I am forced to use another computer and that computer doesn’t have Google Chrome Installed?
That’s when an online service becomes invaluable.
