Best Practices For Business: Things My Car Company Does That I like
As most businesses struggle to get their clients and keep them, not to mention the rising costs associated with marketing and advertising, there are a few little things that my car company is doing that makes me want to go back to them. A few months ago, I purchased my second car from the same company and I don’t see why that should stop. Can you imagine the revenues for my car company if it does the same thing to a clutch of customers? So what does my car company do?
- They have good cars: Well, I don’t own a Lexus or a Ferrari, but my car company sees to it that I don’t really miss these luxury cars so much. I have an amazing car that gives me great mileage, boasts of cavernous space and drives as fast as any other car can possibly can given the condition of the roads where I live. I have nothing more to ask for. First off then, their products are excellent.
- They keep in touch: Here’s the cutest thing my car company does that I don’t see a lot of businesses doing – they keep in touch. They send me a greeting card on my birthday and they wish me on special occasions.; all of this after the purchase. I can’t help but smile when this happens and inevitably I end up remembering them all the time. Trust me, I could be an emotional fool when it comes to my birthdays and these guys wish me on every birthday. I also like the fact that they do it knowing that they might have no future purchases from me.
- They treat you like a king when you walk in: I do know that my car isn’t into the luxury segment but when I walk into any of the dealerships or when I give my car for service/repair, I am treated like a king. They deal with me carefully and explain everything about the car even though there is no need to. They make calls after the service to check on my experiences and to pick some feedback up.
There is a lot to learn from everything happening around us and this is just an example of what my car company taught me about business. Have great products, treat your customers like royalty and just keep in touch.
