There is no doubt in the fact that different countries and regions of the world have different culture and traditions. You can easily find some of the most amazing things in a country that you will never be able to find in another place. Surely, the culture and traditions can be diverse. However, this diversity can be seen many ways.
For instance, you can find different ways of treating illnesses in different parts of the world. In some of parts of the world, people like to go for allopathic medicines while others go for homeopathic medicines. However, when you will mover towards the Asian region, you will find Ayurvedic medicines which are used to deal with several illnesses including arthritis that has become a common problem in recent years.
Ayurveda is the science of life and it deals with things in an entirely different way. For a novice, it can really be a confusing process to understand. There are some specific ways and basic principles that are used for all sorts of illnesses. For instance, it is thought that people feel pain because of a change or aggravation of vata dosha. Same rule can be applied on pains associated with arthritis. However, there is another concept that is associated with arthritis and that is about “ama”. Ama is referred as a toxin that is produced because of improper digestion. Both of these concepts are considered to deal with arthritis.
Before moving any further, it is imperative to mention that arthritis is also referred as amavata because of the previous reasons. It means that you feel pain in your joints because of the storage of ama in your joints which proceed to aggravate vata and both of these things are, collectively, known as amavata. When you will be able to understand this basic concept, you will become able to get the right treatment for arthritis. Basically, arthritis is cured by reducing the ama which is a toxic substance along with making “vata” better. Both of these things are to be dealt with separately like you will have to keep an eye on the things you eat so it may strengthen your digestive system. Also, you can use a mixture of lemon juice and warm water along with a honey filled spoon. This can really help to deal with ama. However, you will have to deal with vata to reduce the pain. Body massage with a special emphasis on the affected joint can help to reduce the vata. However, you must use mustard oil for massaging as this is really effective for soar joints and arthritis. Apart from these treatments, you can also use certain herbs like “Guggul” to make things better in arthritis.
All in all, it is quite evident that Ayurvedic treatments are designed after considering different concepts. However, if you are suffering with arthritis, then you will have to take care of your eating habits as this is extremely important. If you will control your diet, you will become able to deal with “ama” which is the culprit behind arthritis.
