Apple has been creating shockwaves through the technology market for the past few years. The development of their iPod and Mac computers has ensured that they will be in the business for years to come. Apple has finally managed to officially launch their new Macbook! The new 15-inch MacBook Pro was launched at a recently technology show, wowing the crowds.
The features are slightly modified and improved in comparison with previous models of the Macbook Pro. Although it has been heavily modified, it will include a similar built in power supply as the 17 inch edition. According to Apple, the built in battery pack will last in excess of seven hours and will endure 1,000 charges before eventually being needed to be replaced. Even by present technology standards, that is extremely impressive.
One of the most important modifications that have been made to the MacBook Pro is the card reader. The new MacBook Pro will feature a SD car reader, rather than ExpressCard slot that has been used in previous models. Even though Apple has made some extremely technical modifications, the RRP has been reduced to just $1,699!
If the 15 inch model doesn’t fit in with your criteria, then how about trying the 17 inch model?
Whilst the 15 inch MacBook Pro uses a SD card reader, the 17 inch model will use the conventional ExpressCard slot. Apple has suggested that they will be reducing the RRP on the 17 inch MacBook Pro to just $2,499, representing a huge saving in comparison with the previous model!
If you are still not happy and the 15 inch and 17 inch don’t fit in with your criteria, try the unibody MacBook. It will use a SD card slot, and hold up to 8GB of RAM as well as 500GB of storage. Apple will be starting it off at $1,199 right the way through to $1,799.
