I am a believer in the power of networking for business success and the fact that it is mostly done online now adds to the sheer power networking can provide for an average small business owner. Using as many online profiles as you can, you could look to create life-time contacts, promote your business, make a catchy profile and solve people’s problems if you can. Here are 3 more Networking sites you probably did not hear about:
- Entrepreneur Connect: I bet you know about Entrepreneur Magazine – they have been around for a long time and they have content on their site that is worth paying for. Also, it seems to be the “go to” place for any serious small business owner. Entrepreneur Connect is a part of the magazines virtual community and it makes for a great place to start a conversation, make contacts and network with other small business owners.
- Focus: Focus is where your business owners and techies seem to be spending a lot of time on. The site itself is semi-community and semi-content rich magazine. If nothing, you could go there just to red up on all issues business and technology. Focus also pays a major emphasis on anti-spamming and demands you to contribute more than you would like to take back from the community. I like places like these, they make stronger and more serious relationships possible.
- PartnerUp: Yet another powerful networking site I bet you didn’t know. It looks and feels just like Linked In, but has a completely different protocol for networking. I like the site’s navigation and it is incredibly easy to use. You may use this networking site to create a strong profile for you and your business and look to interact with others all over the world.
Needless to mention, all of these sites are free to join and It should be just a matter of effort to get out there and sign-up. How would your business look like if you had more than just Twitter and Linked In? Are you a part of any of these sites yet? Could you share your experiences with me?
