Jail 3 Inescapable Reasons Why Blogs are Important For You
Would you like it if you wanted to voice an opinion but your company communication policies wouldn’t let you do it? Do you agree with me if I told you that no one likes to be restricted when it comes to freedom of speech and yet we see a controlled environment everywhere? When was the last time you said whatever you felt like out there in public? At home, in your office and elsewhere, you may not be able to talk or opine. However, you could do all that and much more by using a blog (a web log).

There are an uncountable number of blogs on the blogosphere today and if nothing, they stand testimony to the fact that the floodgates have now opened for a new medium for communication.Blogs are revolutionaryto say the least.

A blog is a phenomenon; It brings freshness, fearlessness, opinions and facts all meshed into a medium written powerfully, succinctly and boldly. Blogs don’t try to placate you, please you or make a pitch to you. Blogs are not constructed to milk you off your cash or to do any sort of arm-twisting. They are plain, yet powerful. Simple, yet stupendously impactful. Blogs are of immense value, no matter which purpose you would like to use  it for. For starters, here are a few pointers as to how a blog can benefit you:

1. You know it, so you got to show it: Every one is an expert at something or the other — including you; why not showcase your skills? My grand dad had no other to share his knowledge except to rock on his old rocking chair and tell me things and I used to listen, enraptured. You don’t have to be a grand daddy because Internet cuts across age and experience; it allows you to know anything you want with a few clicks and key strokes. Now that you know it, a blog is the best way to show it. Remember that If it’s boring, even your dog won’t read it. Readers on the web are notorious for their lack of patience. If a piece of writing isn’t intriguing enough, this content too shall pass.

2. Build community; voice out your personality: Let it be known that you hate pop music; allow your readers to get angry about one or more of your strong opinions; step on their toes; nudge them, push them and amuse them. Some will be your freinds, and others might just hate your guts, However, your blog will be read. Communities are formed and even more knowledge is shared.

3. If you have to sell something, you will have to ask for it: A blog allows you to voice your thoughts and be yourself. You can offer your point of view and you can choose to be truthful. Your readers will love you and most importantly, trust you. Once they trust you, selling is only a matter of time. You could run your business ethically and truthfully. This has been and always will be the best way to do business.
