Self Employed Vs Business : What makes sense?

What ever you chose among these two, it is certainly better than having to work for someone else and make that person richer. But then, when it comes to choosing between these two, it is a matter of debate and personal choice.

You see, you got to first start with an ‘end’ in mind - like what exactly you need at the end of it all. If you wanted to earn just enough to sustain yourself and live a hassle free life without the head ache of having to run a huge organization, avoid dealing with conflicts, avoid managing people but just so that you can dip your toes in the idyllic waters of the tropical beaches you would be better of with self-employment. If you couldn’t wait until you have earned enough to enable you to break free right away, perhaps you ought to be able to do something or render a service that could be delivered digitally.

However, if your goal was to become uber rich, earn tons and tons of money and if you are willing to do anything it takes to get there; starting and running your own business is your answer.

The thing with being self-employed is just that you won’t be working for anyone else but then your ability to ‘Leverage” is severely limited. You could be only at certain number of places at a given given time or you could be able to serve only a few clients at any given time, unlike business wherein you could pull in others to do it for you and that helps to free up your time.

The calling is yours. But the choices have to be made. Whom are you making money for?

Its all true because it depends on personal view, i would say go for own business because you know how to deal with life perfectly since you see all the up’s and down’s.
